Commands Reference

Every slash command in Shapes: generate images, search the web, manage memory, and control which Shapes respond. The complete, at-a-glance command list.

Commands are quick actions you type right in the chat box. Type / to open the command menu and pick one. It shows the commands available in that chat.

Some commands target a specific Shape (you’ll pick one, e.g. @shape), and some are owner-only. The tables below note both.

Images & web

Memory

/sleep	Save the current conversation into the Shape’s long-term memory.	No
/wack	Clear a Shape’s short-term memory for a fresh start. Long-term memories stay.	Yes
/wack-all	Clear short-term memory for every Shape in the chat.	Yes
/reset	Erase a Shape’s long-term memories for this chat.	Yes

Confused about which command wipes what? /wack = forget the recent conversation. /reset = forget the lasting memories. /sleep = remember this. Full detail in the Memory Guide.

Shapes in the chat

Command	What it does	Owner only?
/activate <@shape>	Make a Shape respond to every message in the chat.	Yes
/deactivate <@shape>	Stop a Shape from auto-responding.	Yes
/thread	Start a thread, e.g. /thread @shape hi.	No

You can activate up to five Shapes in a chat. Activated Shapes reply to messages in turn; you can also @mention any Shape to call on it directly. See AI Group Chats for how multiple Shapes share a chat.

Moderation
