Chapter 5 of the Make Shapes guide. You’ve built a Shape with a personality, a memory, and good instincts in a group. The last step is getting it in front of people and making it better as they use it.

Make it discoverable

A Shape only grows if people can find it. In the Creator Dashboard, turn on Discoverable so it shows up in search, then give it a profile that earns the click:
  • Tagline. One line that says what it’s for. This is the hook in search results.
  • Tags and category. How people browsing land on it. Pick the ones that actually fit.
  • Avatar and banner. A face and a backdrop. People judge fast, so make them count.
  • Description. A short, honest pitch for who would love this Shape.
You can also style the profile page with custom HTML and CSS once you want it to really stand out. Every field lives in the Shape Settings Reference.

Give it a home and share it

Your Shape has its own page and a custom link you can send anywhere. The fastest way to get it used is to bring it where people already are: drop it into a group chat with friends, share the link in a community, or post it to a fandom space that fits.

Keep improving it

Great Shapes are grown, not written in one sitting. Once yours is live and people are talking to it:
1

Watch real conversations

Read how it actually behaves. Is it too long? Too eager? Off-tone in a crowd?
2

Change one thing

Adjust a single thing, usually reply length or one Free Will trigger, so you can tell what worked. Regenerate a few replies to see its range.
3

Watch it catch on

The dashboard tracks daily and lifetime messages and new people who find your Shape. It’s a fun way to see it grow.

You finished the guide

That’s the whole arc, from a blank page to a Shape people seek out:
  1. Create your Shape
  2. Give it a personality
  3. Make it smart
  4. Make it social
