Most AI chats are just you and a model in a private window. On Shapes, Inc., you can start a chat with people, Shapes, or both at once. A Shape can follow the same conversation your friends see, jump in when it makes sense, and help the chat move somewhere none of you planned.

The AI characters you talk to are called Shapes. You can chat with Shapes other people made, or make your own and run it on 300+ models, most of them free.
